Dear Mr. Smith:
We treasure the opportunity to have served as your counsel for the past month or so.
However, due to the circumstances surrounding your continuance to ignore our
advice and warning, we believe it is in the best interests of all concerned for you to
seek other counsel to serve your needs. Therefore, it is with regret that we must
terminate our representation of your company at this time.
As a reminder, listed below are some of your upcoming deadlines that your new
counsel will need to address:
1. Your witness list must be submitted to the court by and before June 1, 2004.
2. Your amended complaint is also due June 1, 2004.
Enclosed please find a copy of the motion we have filed with the court to withdraw
as your counsel. We will be pleased to assist you and your new law firm in making
this case transfer as smooth as possible.
