Dear Murphy:
This is one of those letters that I do not like writing and you cannot enjoy receiving.
I am referring to the fact that your account has fallen more than 90 days past due.
We would like you to remain a client of the firm and are anxious to mark your account
current. Please attend to this matter by sending a check today. Enclosed is a copy
of your latest invoice which shows that your account has a total balance due of USD
$134,567.00.
As mutually agreed in our retainer agreement, this firm will withdraw from
representing your company unless suitable arrangements are made to bring your
account up to date. Accordingly, if I have not received your payment by June 1,
2004 or other acceptable arrangements have not been made by said date, this firm will
cease representing you.
If you are not able to send payment today or if you have a question, please call me at
